Skills Needed

This product is an attachment for a white cane user. It helps reduce wrist movement, while allowing use of a white cane.

Fabrication Instructions

Requirements: FDM 3D printer
Material: PLA/PETG/ABS, White Cane, Velcro, sewing needle, thread, medical foam padding
Nozzle Size: .6mm
Layer Width: .2mm
Supports: Yes
Infill: 15%
Build Plate Adhesion: Skirt
Designer Credit: IATP Makers

Assembly Instructions

  1. Print STL files
  2. Cut a strip of velcro to be around 6 inches long
  3. Secure velcro into the cuff straps
  4. Attach your white cane to the cuff straps and tighten
  5. Once fully secured, use as needed

Additional options (Optional) 

-Add foam adhesive padding for added comfort

-Sew the velcro straps for extra security
