Recently, Mackenzie visited the IATP Makerspace with her mom. While there, she showed the Makers team a drawing of what her dream prosthetic arm would look like, including the colors and other features! From that drawing, the Makers team were able to customize a non-medical grade prosthetic arm for Mackenzie. Then, Mackenzie and her mom returned to the Springfield area so that Mackenzie could be fitted for her new arm! Mackenzie was thrilled with how the device turned out, and was very excited that the device matched everything in her drawing.
