Grace is non-verbal and uses a communication device that she accesses by using switches. She needed a way of attaching a switch to the headrest on her wheelchair in her preferred location. Makers gathered measurements of Grace’s headrest and the switch she would be using to create a mount specific to her needs. The 3D printed mount allows the switch to slide in and then be put over the headrest. With the improved mounting and positioning of the switch, Grace was able to easily access her communication device.
