Noah is a young boy who was referred to the IATP Makers program by the occupational therapist working with him. The OT is actively engaged in helping Noah participate in daily living and play activities. With her input, the Makers Team fabricated an adapted switch mount for him to access his toys. Noah also needed to have a resting place for his arms/hands when using his gait trainer.
The OT had tried different options but hadn’t found a functional solution. Makers designed two, symmetrical, 3D-printed handles, clips, and brackets that attach to PVC pipe. The PVC attachments are adjustable, providing the option for additional height as Noah grows.
