IATP’s Makers program was contacted by an individual who acquired a GYENNO Utensil from IATP’s Reuse program. The GYENNO spoon helps individuals with tremors to eat more easily. This device was very beneficial when the individual was eating, but due to its size and weight it could not rest on a plate or a bowl. The individual requested that the Makers program fabricate a stand for the device so they could rest it when not eating. The Makers program then designed and 3D-printed a stand for the utensil. The stand worked well for its intended use and the customer was very satisfied.
