Bubble Tongs next to poms poms

IATP’s Makers were approached by a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to help aid with an activity for some of her clients. The children were doing a pre-scissor skill-like training but unfortunately some of the children’s hands were too small for the device they were using. She requested some type of bubble tongs designed for much smaller hands. The Makers Team was able to fulfill the request and the children were able to participate in the skill building activity. They practiced opening and closing the bubble tongs along with picking up pom poms, porcupine balls, or jingle bells.
