Connie had joined her local boxing club’s Rock Steady Program; an exercise program for those with Parkinson’s disease. She and some of her friends were having trouble getting the boxing glove on and off. She called many places to see if there was anyone that would be able to help with a solution. Luckily she called IATP and was connected to the Makers Program. After getting all the details, the Makers brainstormed some options for Connie. A 3D printed option was considered, but ultimately the Makers decided upon a simple low-tech solution. The glove was modified by adding a lace up front so that Connie can now loosen the glove wide enough to fit her hand in it and adjust as needed.
